I visited this Starbucks today on a drive up to Ashton, and it is quite a nice, small store located in the very modern Ashton Village Hotel. Unlike the Bury branch, they is no large staircase and messing about, just go straight in the hotel and turn at the enterance. I feel this Starbucks store is very small and it would be nice to see more seating, but it does feel like a new, modern store like the hotel and it wasn’t filled and that was around rush hour so maybe they is no need for an expansion. I decided to try the new coffee blend with the new cinnamon syrup advertied, the barista continued a conversation with a lady while I was queing, about more than the order I think. My coffee came to £3.90 in medium size which is a little pricey especially compared to other stores and it just being medium size. I wouldn’t mind as much paying this for quality and my drink was actually okay. With this store being a franchise of the village, they do not accept reward cards. My drink wasn’t perfect, as I feel they may have put slightly too much syrup in, but this is a very nice Starbucks store and I think is up their as one of the best in the area right now, as The Rochdale and Bury stores have gone down hill I think and the City centre stores are inconsistent, however I can’t ignore the fact that this store can seem a little squashed at time, the member of staff ignored me, the prices are a little pricey compared to normal stores and they put too much flavouring syrup in my drink but I still feel 3 stars is a fair score for this branch.
