Gate Street Barn

This place is great setting for a wedding or event. It would get more stars except for a few minor but annoying features. I think the owners must have been health and safety officers in the past as there are a lot of funny rules which have to rigidly adhered to, and there are unsightly signs all over the place which can ruin a great photo (the staff should make sure they dont get in the photos either — pretty obvious you would have thought). Things to be aware of as they will cost you yet more money are the requirement to have wedding insurance, the fact that they insist you have to use their in house DJ, and that you have to use one of their approved caterers, none of which come cheap either. That said, the caterers were of a high standard and overall it is a good venue.
