I stayed here for a few nights when my next door neighbours house caught fire due to a lightning strike and my home was as a result unsafe to stay in. To put it mildly, I couldn’t wait to get out. The room I was given was dingy and oppressive with what appeared to be a 2 watt bulb in the light fitting. Given that the bar and restaurant had very little atmosphere I only had the option of retiring to my room and watching an annoyingly small television. I know it has undergone some rebuilding since I was there but my underlying memory is of a very dated and shoddy establishment. If your looking to stay somewhere in the Guildford area you should seriously consider your other options.
