Pizza Hut is not the place to go if you fancy a quiet meal, especially early evenings when the schools have just emptied. The accoustics in this place are terrible and everyone seems to be shouting to make themselves heard. The staff are friendly and attentive and the meals are quick to arrive. The salad bar is poor value for money even though you are allowed to return and refill your plate. The choice of salad is a bit basic and the sauces to go with the salad aren’t labelled so you have no idea what you are putting on your salad. I ordered one of the posh pizzas, with goats cheese, olives and sundried tomatoes topped with rocket leaves. Someones hand must have slipped while sprinkling the pizza with rocket leaves as they were piled high and I couldn’t see the pizza underneath. The pizza buffet is the best option as you can eat as much pizza as you like and the choice is varied and regularly refreshed, although the buffet is time limited and not available in the evenings. To sum up, Pizza Hut is a great place to take the kids for a quick meal, but given the choice I’d opt for a takeaway pizza rather than spend an evening sat in here.
