This is a store in dire need of refurbishment. The flooring looks well worn and the seating area looks like a temporary façade and some chairs they found. The only thing breaking the store of of the 1980s are the self service machines. But really, it is just such a dated concept since the dawn of online shopping — although I do have to admit when I order from Argos I do preorder online which is very useful — but I can’t remember the last time I looked in a physical catalogue at home(although I still take them home). Another thing — why list the pickup point when you only have one? It just seems silly. Oh Argos, I loved you as a child but with the exact same décor, perhaps you need to grow up too.

The Argos in the centre of Harrow is very small and cramped. It gets very busy and often there is no space available to look through the catalogue. The staff are quite good and, on the whole are quick, polite and professional. Most of the time there is a long wait for your order. This store is often out of stock so it is best to check on the internet for stock availability before making a special trip. There is no free parking available and there is a long walk to your car if you have big or bulky goods. I would choose the Argos in South Ruislip before the Harrow Branch as there is free parking available and smaller queues.
