My first experiences going to the doctor abroad and in a socialized health care system have been very good. I have a literal clinical phobia of all things medical, and so I really had no idea what to expect. Even so, I really like the Simpson House. As much as you can ‘like’ your doctors office, I suppose. The receptionists can be a little harried, but that’s to be expected. They just renovated the reception area and took out all the stained carpeting and put in new furniture, so it looks much more clean and inviting than on my first visit. I recommend Dr. Goldsmith out of all the doctors at Simpson House. He’s very open and patient, with an appropriately dry English sense of humour that never fails to amuse. Most importantly, I trust him, and I believe that this office has my best interest in mind, rather than feeling like I’m just on a conveyor belt at the factory.
