This place was so bad, I wish I didn’t even have to give it one star. I went twice… the first time I was a little uncomfortable because the staff seemed a bit cold, but my stylist warmed up to me eventually and before I left confessed to me that she wouldn’t be staying there much longer because they treated their stylists quite poorly. Even so, being new to the area and in a hurry, I booked a second appointment with someone else, and had THE worst haircutting experience of my life. I told the guy who was cutting my hair SEVERAL times not to cut the length off. That I just wanted it trimmed and thinned out. He told me he wanted to straighten my curls to cut it, and I was okay with that since I do sometimes straighten my hair. His FIRST CUT was 6 inches off of my hair. Without warning. I just sat there in stunned silence watching him finish the cut… and the oddest thing was that he kept wandering off while he was cutting it. He would go in the back, come back, go upstairs, come back. He wasn’t even coming back with stuff. I got the impression he was drunk or high, because his eyes looked strange. I sat quietly and suddenly… he just walked out the door of the salon and down the street with me still sitting in the chair with my ridiculous plastic gown. I sort of sat there for about 5 minutes and he didn’t come back. Finally I turned around and asked the receptionist where he went. She was just as confused as I was! I asked if he was done, or if he’d be coming back and she wasn’t sure. She went outside and came back and said he’d be right back, just stay there, just stay there. So I sat uncomfortably with my hair all around me on the floor, hating this man for another 15 minutes and he still didn’t return. Finally I got the receptionist to get someone to tell me if he was done. The guy in charge ran his hands through my hair and said it looked like he’d finished, vaguely apologized and then charged me the £50 for the cut. I would have complained but I was so shocked and embarassed that I paid it an ran. The guy was outside smoking a cigarette and I flipped him off as I walked past, I was so angry. I tried emailing the company later that day to complain, but their mailbox was full. I sent it again a few days later and never got a reply. I can not stress to you enough what a BAD idea it is to go to this place. Skip it!
