Its ASDA, what can you say. Its cheap and full of people who like cheap. Quite often slightly crazy people can be found there too. The shop has recently had a refit and it looks better than it did previously. They have a pharmacy which is handy. Plenty of parking. The petrol station almost never has a queue and is pay at the pump and quite often is the lowest price in town. The only thing is that during the refit the cereal aisle was measured wrong and now if you enter at the revolving door end you have to walk all the way to the far end of the shop before you can go up the aisles. This is to stop shoplifting.

Hatfield’s Asda has been through a fair amount of changes over the years(I still remember it being a Woolco’s many, many years ago!), however the current building is fairly modern and large, and carries a good selection of Asda’s range. It’s also the centre of Hatfield’s Town Centre(what there is of it these days). There’s even now a ‘self service’ garage there too, which is usually pretty well priced.

Asda is pretty much the only reason to visit the town centre in Hatfield these days. I have seen this store go through many changes over the years and now it is a good store to visit. The shelves are always well stocked and there is a good range of branded items as well as asda own. The clothing range is great especially for childrens clothing. The home section is great too. i did prefer the clothing sections before the recent changes to the store, I’m not sure they stock as much now as they did. The self service petrol is always the cheapest in town and there is rarely if ever a queue so is really convenient.
