Amazing campsite, beautiful views, eco friendly with composting loos and ‘almost outdoors’ showers. Quite campsite apart from in the festival season (I would imagine). Perfect base for the black mountains. 10 minute walk from centre of Hay on Wye, 5 minute walk to canoeing base. Chickens in a run in one of the camping fields. Set back off the road so very little traffic noise, Thursday market at Hay on Wye. Food in pubs can be expensive so take a little extra cash. Lovely valley walks. Pay for site in advance via bank transfer. Please note that this is a working farm — see website for full details. Glamping, B&B and wild camp also available
