This friendly pub is located on the main road so I would hazard a guess that it gets more passing trade than local. Serves food for the lunchtime and evening trade.
The elusive Ms Stogs had run out here too (this has happened to me far too often recently — not sure what I did to offend her. She is such a tease!). Hid my disappointment in a decent but ominously named pint of Doom Bar.
There is a bus stop and a train station just 5 minutes away if you are not blessed with 4 wheels.

I have been going to this pub for a few years now. They have a good range of real ales and a pretty varied menu that is good value. I recommend you try the seafood chowder, washed down with a pint of Betty Stogs.
