#583 Not bad, not great. I’ve only dropped by Waitrose twice and it was only ever to pick up some fixings for a quick dinner after long days of travel from London. The layout of the place throws me off and I’m never entirely sure where anything is throughout the store. Regardless, we’ve picked up what we needed each time — chips, small prawns, wine, ice cream, juice, etc. It’s best not to use the main cash registers as they usually have long lines. Adam B. and I usually stick to the ones closer to the bakery. All in all, a decent establishment.

An eagerly anticipated recent addition to Headington, replacing the old Somerfield supermarket. Inside it hasn’t changed a lot and it’s not a huge store but there’s a selection of the usual Waitrose goodies including fish and meat counters as well as a bakery. There’s a public carpark right next door(rumour has it that Waitrose tried hard to buy some of the carpark from the council but were refused) and most of the Headigton buses stop fairly nearby.
