Situated five minutes from Dino’s, the Fudge Shop is very much the David in this battle against Goliath. However, despite lacking the long-established reputation of its more illustrious competitor, this humble little shop is good at what it does and offers a more than decent alternative when Dino’s is just that little bit too busy with daytrippers. In particular, the ice cream on offer is tasty while anywhere that offers Iron Brew Humbugs is good in my book, if not on my teeth.

The fudge shop is a sweet little shop selling a variety of, guess what, fudge. It also sells a range of old fashioned sweets that I remember from my childhood such as humbugs, sherbet lemons and bon bons. Definitely wouldn’t advise going to this place before a trip to the dentist.
