Nothing special and expensive in my view. Look at other review sites, Stacks of only 1 star ratings which make me suspicious of the 5 star ratings here. Don’t take my word for it, Google Flambards reviews. In fact, I have seen so many poor reviews, I think this park is doomed to fail soon, unless it cleans up its act dramatically. It used to have a reasonable entrance fee 4 years ago, but this has gone up enormously. Mind you, it’s like a lot of things in Cornwall. Expensive and poor quality(and that includes the weather).

Its a good theme park which has come a long way since its early days, fun for all the family great for kids. For those looking for a good Cornish experience i feel you would be somewhat wanting more than it has to offer. Its a good theme park with all the trimmings but for me(i am local and lived here for years) Its not what id recommend for those who want the ‘cornish experience’

A very enjoyable theme park with a very interesting section on world war 2. Plenty of rides for the children and adults and well worth visiting

Flambards is a great fun day out for the whole family! There’s an indoors museum of britain during the Blitz and other things like that to keep the adults amused, a good café to warm up in during the colder month visits! For children there are rides to go on including a mini hot air balloon ‘big’ wheel, and the hornet rollercoaster for older kids and adults to enjoyu screaming their way around! There are toy boats to steer, pedal boats for kids to sit in and play on, and a whole host of other activities and things to look at! You can find out all the details of whats on etc by looking at their website, they do fireworks evenings and other fun events! Well worth a visit and will keep the kids amused all day! x

My family and I really enjoyed our day out at Flambards. It has everything that you could want from a family day out. First of course there is the mini theme park with all kids of fun rides set over a couple of acres, in good weather it’s a real fun day on the rides. But my favorite parts were the exhibitions, there was a Britain in the Blitz exhibition which really was great, quite scary for some people with the sounds of bombs and air raid sirens going off, truly excellent stuff. Then there was the Victiorian experience which was a walkthrough Victorian town with shops, sounds and even smells recreated so that you could truly picture yourself back in a byegone age. There was also a modern exhibition with things like future inventions, concorde and alike. Great day out with full wheelchair access, one carer gets in free and good disabled toilets. A nice café for a snack too. Good parking.

As a theme park, this is a great day out and the kids will love it. You’ll need a whole day here so come early and it doesn’t matter if it is raining.

Flambards is the only thing you are going to get in cornwall which comes anywhere near to a proper theme park. There is something for everyone, rides for the little ones and exhibitions to keep the oldies happy. There is plenty to do if it raining, but it is best to go on a sunny day as it just makes it so much more enjoyable. The food in the park is expensive, but this is the same with any amusement/attraction. Once you are in you can buy return tickets for a smaller-than-admission fee(cant remember how much). A whole day really is needed to cover the whole park as there is so much to see and do. Throughout the summer they have special firework displays and these are worth visiting.

Flambards is no Disney world but the kids seem to love it. The Victorian street area is very well done and is well worth avisi the hidden shop is something very unusual

Flambards is Cornwall’s largest theme park that boasts a number of thrilling rides and indoor exhibitions that has something for every member of the family, young or old. The kids will be kept amused mainly by the large numbers of fun fair style rides that are added too annually. These include roller coasters, water flumes, aerial bikes and death slides. Adults will enjoy walking through some of the historical exhibitions that includes a look at Britain during the war and various static aircraft including a Concorde cockpit and various helicopters probably from the Naval Air Station next door. Overall Flambards is a good day out that has entertainment indoor and outdoor for all. The park can get very busy during the summer months and sometimes has evening entertainment at the Kingsford venue with cover bands regularly visiting. Entry can be quite expensive so be sure to check local press for discounts!

Flambards is a theme park in Helston, Cornwall. I visited the park on numerous occasions throughout my childhood and have done several times since. There is a section of Flambards targeted at children with smaller rides, which are also fun for adults. On the other side of the park there are bigger rides including a roller coaster with cars shaped like a hornets and two rides which make you go upside down. There is also an inside part which is modeled like a Victorian street. I feel Flambards is a great theme park even if it rains.
