My wife and I go for lunch at the Red Lion every week because the service, the food, the ambience and great value for money, is, in our experience, very hard to beat.

This is the best pub in the village as far as I’m concerned and everything is as a pub should be — decent beer, a friendly warm atmosphere, live music on occasion and a beer-​garden too (featuring heaters for colder nights).
The food’s pretty decent too — nothing fancy but it’s a fair price and portions are sizeable — you won’t leave hungry.
I’ve always found that the staff and locals are friendly (I’m one of them) and I’ve always had a good time here. If you should drop in for a swift half or decide to stay on for the whole night — I think you’ll find that you’ll definitely come back again!

Really freindly local pub with a varied menu of very reasonably priced food.
watch your head low beams are painfull when you bump your noggin on them.
louise and jay are the landlady and her husband and the pub has a freindly warm atmosphere, and the yokels dont even bite. but they will talk to anybody, with live music performers at the w/​e this place is a typical village pub as they used to be, heated garden area accomdates the smoking fraternity and if you want make a night of it you can even get room for the night. for full details see the website.
