Lovely. Opulence it ain’t but the staff are so lovely and caring. I won tickets to the Bowls Championships at this resort from a Norfolk local newspaper digital edition which gave me the perfect opportunity to use one of my first class return rail tickets that I’d won out of the South London Press. There is a bus from Lowestoft which takes one right outside Potters so it’s very handy. Good vibes with lovely staff. I watched about half an hour of the bowls with my free ticket and then just milled around buying cups of tea and coffee and using the smoking terrace with heaters. The reception desk gave me an envelope and I was able to buy one first class stamp to send off a competition entry. There were also some competitions at the entrance to the Bowls arena to win breaks at Potters so fingers crossed! Not the opulence of the Dorchester for example but a very pleasant resort full of oldies with friendly staff and lovely gardens to the rear.
