Wagamama

Very friendly staff however what lets this place down is the erratic service3 starters ordered, one appears 5 mins before the other two. Same with the main courses.

This is our favourite of the 4 or 5 Wagamama restaurants we have visited and we visit this one regularly.
Food — the food here is excellent. Always fresh and very tasty. Our favourites are…
Pork ribs, grilled pork bulgogi wraps, edamame with chilli and garlic, chilli squid, grilled duck ramen, saien soba, chicken pad thai, chicken raisukaree, firecracker chicken, white chocolate ginger cheesecake, and miso soup. I have three complaints… if you want to substitute tofu for chicken in anything (sane soba is my absolute favourite but sometimes I fancy chicken) they charge a silly amount to do it (something close to £4?), the sauce in the firecracker is REALLY variable on quantity and heat (ranging from almost non-​existant sauce to just enough and hot to v.v.v.hot) and the quantity of chicken in any dish is also very variable — I get the prawns taken out of the pad thai because I’m allergic, and sometimes struggle to find a bit of chicken. But all of these things are not outweighed by how amazing the food is here.
Atmosphere — pretty standard across all Wagamama’s — friendly, comfortable, good lighting. We like a booth, even when it’s just the two of us. The shared tables aren’t really for us. Staff are always accommodating and let you wait for a booth if there aren’t any immediately available.
Insider tips — there aren’t any, really. Just kick back and enjoy the experience.
Team — they give the right level of attention — not too much and not too little. Sometimes it can take a while to get the bill, but I’d rather that than feel like I was being rushed out to free up my table.
