The silver grid is a top class fish and chip shop and if ever you happen to be walking past it near the top end of houghton le spring while it is open you will be able to smell the delicious aroma of fish and chips! The silver grid is a very popular fish and chip shop that also does a lunch time special which i particularly enjoy.
their prices are quite cheap compared to some of their competitors near by but the quality does not suffer because of the price.
I have always been served very quickly — from then taking the order to me tucking in to the fish and chips!
