went there without booking, place was full but manager was still able to offer us a table if we were willing to wait about 20mins, after ordering, food was served quickly, the staff were polite and the meals were large and hot, would go back again

Has recently changed hands but the service is still excellent. the range of real ales is very good and a great improvement on the previous choices. The Sunday Lunch Carvery was good but not as nice as the old table service menu. Good value for money non the less. Will try there a le carte menu as it looks very interesting

The Copt hill has always had a very good reputation and has recently ben effected by the credit crunch. Passing a couple of days ago there was a lot of activity and workmen coming and going. The pub is ste with beautiful views of local country side and a large conservatory which make for a relaxing meal
