Totally unprofessional operator, placed one of their unlit skips firmly on the footpath at Marsden W. yorks, covering all but two feet of the pavement and thus wilfully obstructing a narrow busy footpath on Manchester Road in this small village. Several passers by including mothers with young children and push chairs were unable to pass the obstacle and were forced into the roadway. I immediately rang this company and asked the offending skip be removed from the footpath and placed on the customers empty driveway, otherwise, I would inform the council. The man at the other end of the phone said ‘ do what you want there will be nobody in ‘til Monday‘. Needless to say the skip was not moved. Surely a skip company should be aware of the laws governing skips and obstruction? This company obviously isn‘t !!!
