Standard chain pub. Same freezer food, dirty toilets and surly staff. Lunchtimes are busy and the staff often get orders wrong. There is a childrens are but they burst out and run amok around the pub. Not the best atmosphere. The prices are as you would expect, expensive for poor quality. Find a more independant pub if you want to chill and relax over lunch

Always fun for a quick stop on a night out, but I wouldnt reccomend staying here too long as it fills up with old men trying to feel people up on the dancefloor!
Drinks are a decent price, theres a couple of fruit machines and a quiz machine for when you get bored. They serve food through the day, which is ok as long as you dont mind eating stuff that has been blatently reheated rather than cooked!
A decent pub for a quickie, but dont spend too long here!

This Lloyds bar (now advertised as a Weatherspoon for some reason) is a bit dark and dingy. Its always very busy as its close to the University, but unless you are next to the window its hard to see anything inside. The food is okay, but its the same stuff as you can get anywhere else. If you want a meal your probably better going to the Cherry Tree!

Everything that makes the ‘other’ Weatherspoons in Huddersfield doesn’t apply here. The bitter is always off –huge range but the place is huge and is always crowded around the entrance and for some reason alwways dark –even in the daytime. Much younger crowd and very often a tense atmosphere. Food same quality as other Weatherspoons –good.Weatherspoons have a policy of taking over a distinctive building the other is a ex bed shop thios looks like it could have been an Iceland.

Very crowded with students the majority of time so if you ike that kind of thing it’s great if how ever you want good home cooked food with pleasant service this is not for you

Always super busy in here be prepared to fight your way the bar the cheap drinks make it a popular spot for people to meet up. Plently of seating areas and downstairs seems more relaxed. Toilets are nice too. Not the best location but good place to start the night.
