one star for this occaison I decided to go back to the restaurant and ordered a takeway curry. The curry was far too spicy and made so very ill for 3 days. I am not at all impressed with the restaurant again. I doubt I shall ever go back. :(

Food was not bad at all when we visited last week. Authentic Indian cuisine. Super quick service. This place is obviously not as grand as it’s big sister restaurant in Manchester, but it is perfect for a small town like Huddersfield. We at EducateFirst had a great time.

Indian cuisine at its best! While I agree it’s more pricey than many in the area, you get what you pay for and this is really special. A wide selection of dishes, lovely fluffy rice, amazing décor, great service.
And if you live locally you can often get 2 for the price of 1 coupons in the local paper!

The food here tastes fantastic, with big portions and different types of curry than the usual three or four you get at most restaurants. However it is not cheap! The building and location is lovely, with easy access to the bus station. It is ideal for a special occasion, but too pricy for a normal meal out.

Can’t complain about the food (good choice –fluffy rice and breads well and evenly spiced food) but you can complain about the price for reasonable food. It’s expensive. Good location –very central –I think it used to be a bank so is an impressive building. Good draught beers.

Really great restaurant — the food here was great. One of the best I have tasted in the area. Food was priced well and the service was really good too. I went there quite a few times.
