When doing research at places I know pretty well and do go and spend time at, I thought I have to write my review for ‘House of Fraser’ I can’t speak for anyone else about this one, but I really love it, their have been some changes over the years to the store, some good, some not so good, but all in all, it’s your typical department store where you can go, you can enjoy looking around, their is a Caffe Nero there that is very good and though out the departments, a wide range of fashion, home, furniture and food.etc. You name it. The staff are very friendly and pleasant, always on hand to help. I myself am saving up for Xmas(coming to quick) and they have some great ideas for presents too. My advice, save up a bit, put some money aside and go and treat yourself from time to time. At ‘House of Fraser’ their is something there for everyone!

Love HoF now that I’ve discovered the collect in store point! It makes purchasing so much easier for busy people like myself. The store it’s self needs a bit of TLC on the outside as if you look above the shop windows it looks very tired and neglected but all in all a good shop

Typical department store, but the loss of the alcohol section has lost one of it’s unique features. The Caffe Nero is very good though, with very pleasant staff.

House of Fraser is another of my favourite stores in Hull. They have a really good cosmetic section, the Ladies concessions always have good ranges in as do the mens, the home furniture is gorgeous, if a little pricy, and they have recently added a couple more cafes. My only problem with this store is the lack of selection for children. They have recently started stocking a small selection again, but it is really limited compared to other House of Frasers I have visited. Apart from this, I find the store easy to navigate, the concessions always seem to be well stocked, especially the Warehouse and Kookai. And the clearance floor is always worth a root– I have had D&G t shirts from as little as a fiver!

House of fraser has the best concessions of any of the other dept stores In Hull. This one is a bit small compared to some other branches but has recently been revamped and now has better stores and a nicer lay out. The store is always stupidly hot and so I never manage to stay in there for very long but its nice to have a browse and I always love the store at Christmas. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There is a good home section here and a floor specially for reduced items which if you can be bothered to rummage might be good.
