Very friendly staff, nice for a quick pint or three with friends.

This is a no-​nonsense, unreconstructed drinkers pub! The clientele is a mix of regulars and people killing twenty minutes before catching a train at the nearby railway station. It actually extends over two floors but if you think the ground floor is snug then there is scarcely room to swing a cat upstairs.
