Small sandwich shop in the old town area of Hull — sells the best sandwiches ever! With only a small menu available — this is fine as all on offer is delicious and any more would make it even harder to choose from! I use to go for my lunch here every day as i only worked around the corner. They have a range of bread available from panni’s, doorstop breads & ciabatta and also offer salads in the summer and soup in the winter. They are also happy to make you up a sandwich that is not on the menu, as long as as they have the ingrediants. Always busy — in some instances the q can be out of the door! However the also do a telephone service. Never mind an absolute gem — this shop is a little diamond. The mother of all sandwich shops!

Endorsing Wendy’s comments, Relish is an absolutely gem. The quality and freshness of their sandwiches and soups is absolutely unrivalled. Word to the wise: telephone your order through as this place is absolutely packed over lunch hour and you may find yourself queueing into the street.

This is without a doubt one of the best sandwich shops in Hull. Hidden a little bit out of the way of the main shopping area but ideal for all the solicitors and offices and it gets very very busy during office lunch hours. They offer fantastic sandwiches in a variety of breads including doorstep bread. They also offer their own quiches and snacks and home made soup of the day which are always delicious. My favorite for quite some time was their chicken and tarragon mayo which I have tried to recreate at home without success! The sandwiches are really nicely wrapped in paper aswell rather than the usual plastic cases. Yum is all I can say!
