The Glaswegian

With close links to the Daily Record (the two papers are based in the same offices), the Glaswegian has managed to progress in recent years while other rival freesheets fall by the wayside.
In particular, the newspaper’s use of videos on its website complements its print editions in a way many national papers would be proud of.
The result has been the revival of a paper that appeared to be flagging and, although it can be a little difficult to obtain in the West End of Glasgow, it has gained a new, steady following in recent years helping to bank its short term future at least.
