The Mill is the best pub in the area(sadly that’s not saying much — but it is worth going) The drinks are good, and not noticeably expensive. The food is tasty, however there are a couple of gripes about the food: 1) We went in at about 6pm one evening to be told that they had stopped cooking. 2) If you have any dietary needs eg vegan, or non-diary make sure that they understand when you make your order. More than once veggie burgers have been served with cheese(which was not mentioned on the menu) Still don’t let this put you off, you’ll have to go a long way in East Hull to find a pub as nice and they have Wifi

The Mill has always been a nice pub. It does best as a family pub offering good food. The building is quite small and has very low ceilings, which until the smoking ban made the place a bit smoky. Now that you cant smoke inside it is much better. The food is OK, nothing special but at reasonable prices and there is a real windmill outside(used for storing the beer now as far as I know). They did try to turn the Mill into a younger pub with a lot of large TV’s showing sports but then the Crown opened up after refurbishment and the Mill could not compete. I’m hoping it will get back to being the more family/regulars pub that it used to be.
