The Omelette

Used to be very good now it’s miserly portions, definitely much smaller than they used to be! prices are up it’s no wonder we ate alone apart from one other couple, we’ve been many times in the past but will not be going again!!!

Ate here recently with my family, I ordered my meal with a Jacket Potato which is a nice option when trying to stay away from chips! When it came my jacket potato looked like it had been cooked 4 days previous when I complained to the waitress she said she would get another and when that came it was burnt to a crisp and crunchy all the way through??? Needless to say I left that to one side the rest of the meal was ok but nothing amazing wouldnt bother returning there are plenty of places to eat in hull which arent cramped and can cook!

Have been to eat there a few times and I think the food is great and the service is very friendly! They have a wide range of food, and of course lots of omelettes, which are delicious! They only down side is that often it is full with lots of people and can be quite cramped, but even so, you are never waiting very long for your food =)

We have been coming here for many years now this must be the most consistently good place to eat in hull centre, very nice staff, friendly atmosphere, clean as you like a very well run establishment!

This is quite a busy place to dine (or always is when we’ve been in) It’s great for anytime of the day meals,(they even do a variation of a n English breakfast) This place doesn’t only do omelettes as the name would tell you but has too many to mention dishes but my last time there i had the fried scampi with home made tartar sauce as my starter followed by bangers & mash with hand made pork & leek sausages that were out of this world & will be going back for that dish for definate & if you have room they do numerous deserts again my fav being the hot chocolate fudge cake served with cream then to top it off i had a proper hot chocolate drink topped with cream definately needed in this weather to warm you up
The meals are quite cheap here depending really on your choice

When I was in Hull last month to catch the ferry we stopped off and had a late lunch at the omelette house. This place has obviously been here for some time and is still very busy. Te restaurant is quite small and from the name I thought they would only sell one product but they actually sell a variety or other wheals as well as omelettes. The restaurant looks as though it has recently been refurbishes and is very clean and pleasant to the eye. To be honest we only stopped of here as it was local and quick and convenient. The food was good but it it’s by no means a place to go for special occasions or events. I would go again for a quick bite to eat if I was here again. I ordered sausage and chips and the price was very reasonable, the food was very nice
