west park is one of the city parks in hull owned by the council, it has now been overshadowed by the kc stadium which has kind of taken over the area altogether. it is a nice little park though. not quite as secluded as the other city parks as its not as set back from the road as others. the playground area is pretty awful and in dire need of doing up as it has been pretty badly abused but they have a section with animals in, some llamas and a wallaby and lots of birds in aviaries which have recently been refurbished and are really nice. nice to have something slightly different to do locally.
