Such a funny little place this — it doesn’t do anything particularly badly it just doesn’t do anything particularly well. It’s right in the middle of ‘studentsville’ and is always somewhere you can nip to if you need somewhere quiet to work or have a quick meeting — there’s hardly anyone ever in it when I’ve been. Hot and cold drinks are cheap but the coffee is very poor so I steer clear of that now. They also do food but I haven’t stopped for that before. The staff are very friendly and the venue is very wipe down and efficient but really not that comfortable. I’d say it serves a purpose and probably is geared up more to students wanting very cheap drinks and somewhere to work from all day at low cost.

TL;DR — Cheap drinks but not the best in town. Stopped by here early one morning for a pre-work coffee. The interior isn’t your typical coffee shop; it’s more spartan but in a good way — lots of bare white tiles and a high ceiling. If you had to describe the look, it’s something like«up market fast food» but that doesn’t quite do it justice — it’s nicer than that. I just stopped in for a latte and was somewhat surprised by how cheap it was — £1.90 for a large. The staff were friendly and efficient and I was quickly on my way down the street with my coffee in hand. Unfortunately though, it wasn’t a particularly great coffee — more like a mild coffee flavoured milky drink. It wasn’t unpleasant in any way, just very very mild. If you want a cheap coffee served quickly then by all means stop by. They have a loyalty card scheme too. But if you’re a real coffee fan, you may want to look elsewhere.

I first stumbled upon Cheeky Coffee on my way to work. It was their sign on Oxford Road that I stumbled, which pointed me in the general direction. It is an indi coffee shop that serves the usual hot and cold drinks and food. Nothing outstanding, but not bad either. You get service with a smile and a friendly conversation, which is a nice thing, these days. They have a loyalty card system, which is similar to Nero. Buy seven drinks and get the eighth drink free.

I’m always a fan of trying out non-chain coffee shops, and the name and logo are an added bonus! I’ve been here twice, the first time by chance, the second time by choice and it’s seems to be a good reliable place. The coffee is pretty decent, and a roll and sausage… sorry BARM and sausage(it’s a Manchester thing I guess) well priced at £1.50. It’s a nice relaxed space, roomy and modern feeling, if anything it’s a little too sparse. But it’s functional and reasonable quality for a good price. Can’t really complain about that!

Can’t complain, you get what you paid for. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is quite obvious that everything they have was from Costco. The interior decoration was very quirky and playful. Food wise, it is average.

It’s a little cosy café a few steps away from Oxford Road. It’s reasonably priced and the coffee is actually decent. The breakfast including the sausage and bacon barm are fresh and all the pastries are baked every morning. There are classic cakes as well. It’s good for students to gather for the projects and essays. It is also a good option for professional to grab a coffee to go.
