Very good food and services… The vegetable Thali is excellent :)

I heard so many good reviews about this restaurant that I decided it was a ‘must try’.
Unfortunately they do not have a website, so I was unable to choose a dish from a menu, so I chose dishes that I had tried from other Indian restaurants. They were very friendly on the phone, and the food was done in 15 minutes (which was very quick).
The food was excellent, I would def order from this restaurant again.
I was quite surprised when I received the order to have complimentary Coke, Poppadoms and Maltesers. The bill was slightly more expensive than my usual Indian restaurant and this is probably due to amount of extras you get (personally I don’t really drink Coke or eat Maltesers) so I would have preferred the bill to be cheaper, but what the heck, the food was good so I didn’t mind paying the extra :)

Just come back from a lovely meal at Sharods. It seems that they are a victim of there own success as we booked a table for 7.30 and when we arrived we found that they were full with people standing. We were told it would take about 10 minutes for the table to be free but it took nearly 45 minutes. The place is quite compact with a few booths near the front and long tables further in. The noise level due to people having to shout to be heard was a bit off putting so if you want to have a quite meal you should probably avoid Fridays and Saturday’s. Good points are that the food is very nice. The bad points, very noisy with not enough staff to accommodate the customers.

Love this place… Needless to say service is top notch, free drink at the end of the meal… The chicken Korma is to die for… Any one coming to England needs to go here!!!

This really is a great neighbourhood curry house very friendly cosy seating, try and get one of the window booths. Lovely authentic curry good size portions can be a bit of a wait at busy times but I am not normally in a hurry when I come here so its not a problem. Love the little treats at the end of the meal.

We’re big fans of Sharod, i’d even go as far as saying its the best curry house i’ve been to and believe me i’ve been to a few! :-)
The staff are always really friendly and accomadating. The foods great and resonably priced.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! The food is reasonably priced, good choice and tastes great with all your favourites plus there is always something on the menu we haven’t tried yet.
The reason we go back again and again is the staff, the atmosphere is great and they are so friendly. It’s a tiny restaurant but it seems like everyone eating there know the staff and are regulars which shows how good it is.
I’ve eaten here with a big group and as a couple and always enjoyed it. On our last visit they gave us an Easter Egg as we left, a tray of choccies with the bill and a free round of drinks after we’d paid.

A quaint restaurant serving high quality Indian food. I am sure that curry falls into the category of ‘love it or hate it’, and if you relate more to the former, you’ll probably know your Kormas from your Masalas. So for the curry fans out there, if you are searching for good quality Indian food, which is well spiced and tastes like it could have originated from an ‘authentic’ recipe then I highly recommend this restaurant.
