The works is a large book shop within the buttermarket area of Ipswich town centre. They always have items displayed outside of the shop that get your attention enough for you to wander in. They are so reasonably priced cheaper then most other places that sell books. As you walk in there are books all around the walls of the shop mostly kids books downstairs, and they are all well below the price they should be. They also sell some games, cards and craft items. Downstairs there is also always a reduced section, where sometimes you can even get things as cheep as 5p!
Upstairs they sell adult books, referance books and lots of art itmes, whcih when my dad visited from America he just loved.
