A pleasant enough local pub with a good choice of guest ales and friendly staff. Could do with a lick of paint and would be much improved if the regulars at the bar stopped turning and staring every time anyone enters the premises.

Kilbarchan is a nice wee village and The Trust Inn is a nice wee village pub. They do music nights and the bar is usually a busy place to be. The best thing for me, though, is the food. It is exemely good for pub food. It is also popular with families as they do a really good kids menu. The staff are really friendly and helpful. If you are going for lunch, I would recommend phoning ahead as you can have a bit of a wait which can be quite stressful if you are on a lunch hour. The wait is worth it though as the food is freshly prepared and delicious. Try the macaroni cheese and be unhealthy and get the chips too — you won’t regret it!
