La Gare

This restaurant is one of about 5 – 6 that is located ont he English side of the Channel Tunnel. It is also one of the few that doesn’t force you to order burgers if you’re hungry. Since we had a couple hours to kill and were hungry, I visited all thos eateries available and by far the best bet was La Gare.
My wife and I decided on having some chilli and although we weren’t expecting much, just typical fast food, chain store, travel food, this chilli was really very tasty! The prices were also reasonable compared to the other places. You can also get some French wine and even French beer here. My place of choice now and whenever I find myself waiting to cross back into Europe.
