Excellent service, I am not a keen sewer so had to take some cussions into Jane’s for repair.
They were done in 2 days and an excellent job it was too.

Great for tailoring. The ladies in the shop can really advise you on the best way to alter a garment and can do it for you!

Jane sells knitting wools and patterns, sewing machines and related goods (everything except material). She can arrange to have your sewing machine serviced or mended. She stocks a few other craft kits and a few toys. She does also sell some clothes but I would think most of her trade is the wool and sewing stuff.
It is an old fashioned haberdashery with old fashioned service. The people behind the counter are more than happy to advise you and help you out with your queries about different types of knitting wool and why your sewing machine might be acting up.
