Yes, it is hard to review your local pub. The pub you grew up in and learnt how to drink in. For all of this I cannot give it anything else than 5-stars. It is perfect and it’s me.
Seriously, it is one of the best pubs in the area and actually a really nice and friendly place to feel like you’re in the country even though the train outside the door will get you to Euston in 17 minutes.
A real welcoming vibe with a strong selection of beers, wines, spirits and ciders. At the weekends, there’s a nice array of live music on Saturday night and acoustic sessions every few Sundays.
More than worth a visit and given I live a stone’s throw away, let me know, can always sneak a pint in ;-).
