Just another clothing chain store. The shop is always clean and well organise. However the staff at this branch can be friendlier…

Uniglo is pretty central and easy to find. Often almost empty of customers this makes for a peaceful shopping experience. Concentrates on well designed and high quality basics prices can be quite high and worth waiting for a sale if you are not in a hurry. The Japanese background and mentality is felt throughout the store for example the one style of sock but available in 50 colours but this is no bad thing. Clothes are mostly plain colours and do not change with the fashions a reliable back up if Primark has got what you want or looks poor quality if you like the Muji stores you are in heaven.

Uniqlo is definitley worth a visit-it’s all very reasonably well priced and it has quite a big selection, I’ve bought several nice tops from there. However I don’t feel it would appeal to those looking for clothes ‘in season’-apart from skinny jeans, I don’t often see things ‘in trend’ on sale. It does have a lot of ‘Astro Boy’ tops, if you’re into animé.

Uniqlo is not somewhere I’d visit for the hottest new looks or the hippest vibe but this Japanese outlet is good for quality, well-made and reasonably-priced wardrobe staples. I’ve bought some well-cut skinny jeans here that I happily found in a nicely-fitting, small size and some of my favourite — very practical and comfortable — compression running gear(vests and long shorts). Worth exploring!
