Ace Pizzas

Any takeaway that tries to compete with big favourite Chicago’s has to do something spectacular — this place does anything but.
The building itself has changed hands many times over the years, but always housed a pretty poor takeaway, and Ace is no different.
There’s very little to get excited about — overly salty and somewhat sloppy pizzas that just fail to please and standard burger/​chicken/​anything unhealthy meals that are prepared with little care. The staff are a rude and seem a bit dodgy too, and they seem to shut whenever they fancy, which has frustrated me once before. There’s no point even considering Ace if the fine joint across the road is open.
