Burley Park Medical Centre is right opposite a pharmacy… how very convenient. It’s a pleasant modern building, with digital sign in facilities and a friendly reception team. The only doctor I’ve ever seen there was a very pleasant and helpful bloke (can’t remember his name!) and really seemed to be listening and to know what he was talking about… which it seems some doctor’s don’t! Registering there was very simple — I just had to turn up ten minutes early for an appointment and fill in a quick form. Great!

I had been happy with moving doctors from an ace place in Sheffield to a new surgery in Leeds. Burley Park is good at getting you an appointment swiftly and the nurses I’d seen were competent. On a more recent visit and for a more concerning matter I was thoroughly unimpressed. I booked in to see a Dr which I thought was prudent at the time arrived punctually and explained my problems. Only to be virtually reprimanded for actions taken in Sheffield and refused help on current matters of concern. The Dr virtual pushed my out of the door telling me to see a nurse instead. A total waste of both his and my time and with no resolution to my problem, only a delay in getting help. Unimpressed.

When I came to Leeds I was a little worried about my doctor situation! Being based in Leeds only ½ of my year my doctor was still based back at in Birmingham. My mind was put at rest when someone recommended Burley Park Medical Center to me!
This center has (not literally) saved my life on many occasions! You can sign up to their books on a 2monthly basis or get a last minute appointment without being a member of the surgery.
The doctors have always been very helpful and approachable and the receptionists very pleasant also! We all dread the doctors, however this surgery have put my mind at ease about my health while being in Leeds completely.
