One of the seemingly few Indian takeaways that doesn’t try and ‘broaden’ its horizons by offering substandard British and Italian food as well, Cooky’s is all the better for it. While certainly not the best Indian in Leeds it is one of the most reasonable, and the food is tasty, generously portioned and, when I ordered recently, impressively quick to arrive. There’s nothing new on the menu here, and they could do with offering a few more veggie options to choose from, but the dishes they do make they’ve obviously been making for years, and the korma I had was on a par with many I’ve had in restaurants charging twice the price. One of the better takeaways in this area.
