Creature Comforts

Creature Comforts in Meanwood is one of three Creature Comforts outlets, as an entity, they provide for existing animals with creature appropriate food, toys, chew things, accessories, cutesy things, bedding, shampoos, all manner of pet related things.
The store itself is a bit cramped due to the many many pet related erm, things in here, but it’s the staff we came to see. My friend is particularly interested in reptiles, and one reptile in particular, so we went in to discuss the possibilities and costs of caring for a lizard, including food costs, housing, space and all that sort of thing. We left, well he left, feeling very knowledgable about the whole thing, and the guy suggested we visit their store in Bradford for further investigation. Also, if he had any more issues to discuss, to either pop in or just give them a call. All happy to help.

Another independent Meanwood shop on the corner of Greenwood Mount and Green Road, very cheerily decorated with lovely, knowledgeable staff. When I visited one member of staff was there gently nursing a poorly looked after guinea pig in need of a new home.
Many types of treats, animal bedding, toys and accessories are in stock along with fish for sale. Loosing some business now due to the opening of a large new pet superstore near by but hopefully this will remain.

always remember buying a fishing net here on the way to meanwood park as a child!
