This little sandwich shop was super handy when I lived just up the road from it, if ever I couldn’t be bothered to make my own lunch or fancied some crisps or a piece of cake. Since I have moved the owner has changed and outside has been repainted but I think they do pretty much the same thing. It is a small café/sandwich shop frequently populated by builders on their lunch break but that doesn’t mean they do boring sandwiches like other regular cafes. There is a wide selection of fillings to choose from that come in either a wrap, baguette or ciabatta(without a hint of yorkshire ‘bap’ in the place). And there are just as many vegi options as meat ones, which actually look far more interesting — feta, walnut and mango chutney or brie, roast veg and olives. My mouth is watering just writing about it! It is a shame that its placed right on the main road and not that close to many other shops. If you’re a local or passing from Headingley to Meanwood it is worth checking out.
