Gap

I don’t like this Gap as much as the one in town. The staff in this one are a bit snooty and poncey (which would be fitting for Gap if they were at the one in town too, but they’re not). I also don’t like that the trousers I really wanted to buy had no prices on the tags, or on the stand, and I felt as though I couldn’t ask how much they were because if they were too much I wouldn’t be able to afford them and the Gap lady with the trendy hair and skinny jeans would have judged me.
The window displays often mention sales or special offers that are on that seem to disappear as soon as you’re in the store, which is confusing and misleading.
I only go here if I am accompanying someone who wants to go in. I don’t do it by choice. Unless I am feeling masochistic.
UPDATE
I came in here again yesterday because Steve is still looking for a green waistcoat to complete his Joker outfit, and it was my worst Gap experience to date. He found some ace socks, which were perfect Joker socks, all purple and diamond-​y and great, and they were on offer at 3 for £12, as were the ladies socks, so I chose two pairs for myself — hey presto, fancy Gap socks for £4 a pair, bargain.
Then I got told off by the shirty Gok Wan-​abee at the till that you can’t mix men’s and ladies’ promotions. You just can’t. And so I didn’t know what to do because yet again, there were no prices for the socks on their own, and I wasn’t that bothered about mine anyway, I was just making up numbers for Steve, and he wasn’t there and so I just said ‘forget it’ and left. I hate Gap. I am going red with the humiliation of it all over again.
I hereby swear never to go in this Gap ever again. Ever.
