Hing Fat Hong Supermarket

I found Hing Fat Hong clean but rather dark/​dim and untidy, with stock lying about unshelved and — my pet peeve — an awful lot of shelved items unpriced. I will not purchase unpriced items! If I have to go to the girl at the till and ask how much it costs, I will do without instead or just take my custom elsewhere.
However they are a good place for a bargain, with the cashew nuts and rice noodles especially well-​priced. Worth returning: I will be a repeat customer.
The staff were pleasant although thin on the ground: I would have liked to ask a question about a couple of products but couldn’t find anyone handy. A bit of English language labelling on the shelves — or some handy product leaflets — could boost their sales a lot. Just a thought!
