Horsforth Post Office

This Post Office provides a check and send service for new passports. Although not cheap they will make sure all aspects of the application process are carried out correctly. This should ensure that your application isn’t returned with the possible delay of your holiday plans.
However my passport photos were refused by the Post Office after having them professionally taken. I was not best pleased so returned to the photographer. I was advised by the photographer to use a different Post Office as this problem was known to them. After having them verified by another local Post Office they were accepted and the Passport came back within the week.
As you can imagine I am not best pleased. I would also be interested if anyone else has had the same problem. So please do not use this Post Office to have you photos checked and verified it is not worth the hassle.

A handy little Post Office, this place serves the small town of Horsforth well. It’s nothing too major to require writing home about, but should you feel the need to, it will provide everything that you need to do so — from the stamps, the writing pad, pens, envelopes and post box! Pretty much one of those Post Offices that does exactly what it says on the tin. They’ve a small selection of standard cheesy gift cards, nothing too specialist, a range of decent stationary items, but again nothing too specialist, and a few counters. In this respect you’ve to try and get in early to avoid peak times. But, if you can see the queue mounting you can always chill outside and read the extensive local notices on the board until the customers dissipate! Everything from local flats, to dog walkers, to TVs for sale and more.
