So, it had gotten to that late stage in the day and it was well past the time to make an effort and actually cook for myself. To remedy my hunger I decided to give Jaldi Jaldi a ring since I’d wandered past many a time when in Headingley and was curious to sample their offerings. I called up and gave over my order to a really friendly guy who took everything down no problem. We were going to have the tikka masala and the korma, but he had to ring me back just after I’d ordered to let me know there wasn’t any masala left. Instead we took a punt at the dopiaza. Within half an hour our food arrived, which included a pilau rice and garlic nan too, altogether totalling about £15. Not too bad! The food itself certainly tasted freshly cooked and it filled the hunger hole in my stomach no problem. Whilst it wasn’t the most delicious curry I’d ever had, since there wasn’t a great deal of sauce with the meal, it was certainly a solid choice and over all I was pretty satisfied. For what it is, which is a fast food Indian cuisine option, they certainly haven’t gone wrong.
