Looking like a scruff-bag and having larger than average feet finally paid off at L K Bennett’s summer sale last year. My father came to visit and despaired with my falling apart trainers. Normally I would only pass L K Bennett in town wondering if there will ever be a time when I have an appropriate lifestyle to afford and adorn such items of clothing, handbags or shoes. Luckily, said father forced me to go shopping so he could buy me some new clothes. With a little feigned resistance I complied. We ended up in L K Bennett where I purchased some suitably smart shoes. It was the end of the sale but since my feet are an 8⁄9 there were plenty to choose from. I noticed that shoes in size 5 and 6 has already been bought up by happy sale shoppers. It is an expensive shop but if you have the money then why not go here for some nice work clothes? Everything is displayed on glass shelves or on racks that aren’t cluttered, which makes for easy shopping.
