One for the drinkers as the booze is the cheapest in Roundhay. The food isn’t much but will satisfy you after a few pints and it’s good quite a bit of outside space to sit out in if you manage to go on one of the five days of the year Leeds has sunshine. It can get a bit rough and ready at times, it’s not the sort of place to go on a romantic date or with a family.

A very pub-ish pub in Roundhay, the Streets of Leeds is definitely good for getting smashed — fairly cheap drinks and a lively atmosphere. It does attract some less than savoury people though — mainly young(maybe too young) guys who go there are can’t handle their beer and start looking for troubles. But these sort of people aren’t always there — usually it’s a good place to get a pint or five if your in this end of Leeds. Of all the pubs in this area, it’s probably the one that’s most pub like — i.e. not obsessed with food and families.
