Tribeca

I only came here for a hot chocolate so will have to re-​review when I go back for food. The place is going for a New Yorky feel and is very cosy, hidden away under a building on park square.
The menu is pretty extensive and very sandwich based. They make sandwiches to order and have a lot of fillings to choose from, including gherkins which is always a selling point for me. Service could be better as we had to wait a while for our drinks but as long as you’re not in a huge hurry the service is friendly enough.
A nice change from the local Starbucks and Greggs, good for a bite of lunch or a coffee and cake.

Excellent sandwiches and home made cakes. I had the (I think it was called) Ranch Cowboy; hot beef & gherkins on ciabatta. The quality was great and the portion size did not disappoint. However … The staff … How long did it take to get served? How did they forget about two sandwich orders? Come on guys get your training up, you’ve got something good here and it would be a shame if you weren’t successful.
