This branch of the Harvester is always busy. You usually have to wait about half an hour for a table.
Good value, good service and pretty good food.
Our family of 4 normally all get fed for less than 50 quid.

It’s not all about living the good life. I wish it was but sometimes we need to find little nuggets of joy in lesser packages (or at least better packages on the bank balance). That’s why there is always a time and place for most things and that can be said of the White Rose pub.
It’s part of the harvester chain and sometimes chains get things right. I know we grumble about the loss of independents and the like but variety is the spice of life. So the White Rose is a perfectly good place to hit after some shopping at the retail park.
It’s your usual affair inside with no special highlights to shout out about but that’s actually quite nice at times. You know what you are going to get. What I like about the White Rose is the fact the staff are friendly and the service is good. Everything is with you in a decent period of time and I’ve always had an enjoyable meal. It’s good on the purse too with the salad bar a particular favourite of mine. Fresh, varied and tasty. I’ve always got a table there and then and of course there is enough parking for a small continent and the location is spot on for a quick stop off.
