Yeadon Post Office

Excellent service today, Taz went above and beyond in helping me to apply for a second passport. She was a great help in completing the online application form for me. A very cheerful and upbeat lady. I give her five stars.

Brilliant service this is my favourite post office to go to .The staff are so nice and friendly and give a 5 Star service.

Unfortunately this is my local post office. I say unfortunately because of the very poor service which is offered here. Each time I go in there, the staff seem more focused on trying to sell me everything other than what I have actually gone in for, not to mention this delays getting the HUGE queues down, which seems a regular occurrence here. I hear other customers getting annoyed and angry from the time they have spent waiting in the queues and because of the sale drives when they EVENTUALLY get served. Sometimes there are only two or three staff on at a time with the queues right round the shop. Where is the manager when times are busy to keep everything running smoothly? Or is it that they are just short staffed?

I really do not rate this post office, although they offer all the things a large post office should like car tax. They just seem to have the attitude of there is no competition so we can do what we want.
There is always a queue and usually less than half of the counters are open. Staff get up and down from there seats in between customers and disappear off for a chat.
They can give you the post office and other leaflets but never offer any advice.
I only used to use this post office if I needed any of the big things like car tax, but of course all the smaller post offices are being closed down, so there is no other choice now.
